Mattress can be set at two heights, highest point for when baby is very small to reduce parents bending down into cot when laying baby down, the second high is when baby is moving around and pulling themselves up to prevent them from getting over the rail. The cot can be turned into a toddler bed when ready, by removing the railing side and replacing with a solid bed rail.
